Trudy's Fan Club
Trudy has lived at the rescue since 1996. She is the most physically and mentally abused horse on the farm. She was bound with barbed wire then dragged behind a tractor. She is deservedly fearful of humans. However, she does not kick or strike humans - all she does is blow very loudly and hard through her nostrils as she is planning an escape when approaching her. Trudy will always be a permanent resident of the rescue. She feels safest when surrounded by horses so she is never removed from her pasture. Charlie is her companion horse and will normally stand between you and Trudie when approaching her.
